In response to media reports that "a married female colonel was forcibly kissed", the Ministry of National Defense (MND) stated today (5th) that a drunken and disorderly incident occurred when Colonel You drove Major General Hsieh of the National Security Council home. The incident has considerably damaged the reputation of the Armed Forces and parties involved. As such, the MND shall adhere to the principle of "No Wronging, Nor Indulging", and work to clarify the facts of the case. It will also provide the parties concerned with necessary assistance following the results of the investigation.
